Cloudy Water and a Day of Reckoning
It is not always easy to maintain a continual state of preparedness, especially when we allow little, every-day things in life to distract us. However, one of the most important aspects of disaster or survival preparedness is to be vigilant and mindful of threats in our midst. I recently witnessed first-hand how a single decision was able to set-off a chain reaction of events that went from annoying to potentially catastrophic. Let’s take a look at how my simple mistake put me in a precarious position.
