Upside Down Fire — Forget what you’ve learned
Take everything you have learned about fire making and well…turn it upside down.
This method while takes time to prepare up front, the benefit is in its long lasting burn time with very little management. Watch the video
The basic premise is that you build your fire starting with the larger logs on the bottom, then the fuel gets smaller and smaller as you build the fire up, then top it off with your sticks and tinder.
When you light it, the embers will drop down to the next level and slowly ignite each level as more fuel is required.
