Sharpening Knives on a Window
This is how you can get a knife sharp by using the frosted portion of a glass straight edge. I was using my shipping scales surface, but you could theoretically also use the frosted portion on the top of your cars side window also.
I sharpen the edge of a Spyderco Tenacious knife on the window of my vehicle, and demonstrate how you can do that too. Any knife edge that needs sharpening can be refined by using this method (honing). As always, be safe with glass. Do not tap the knife on the window, as it can crack or even worse shatter.
