Remaking 12 gauge target loads into low recoil round ball defensive shotgun slugs. I made a mold to make a .660 inch round lead ball and I replaced the lead shot in a target load with that ball. We go to the shooting range to test them at 50 yards from a 12 gauge Mossberg Maverick 88, smooth bore shotgun (no choke). Very functional results all things considered.
