This is great little skill to have down, knowing how to make a whistle out of any type of pithy wood or bone could save your life in an emergency situation. Plus my kids love them when we are out camping or hiking. EastWoodlandSurvival has done a good job in easily showing how to make one.

An easy DIY (Do it yourself) project to make for survival or just for fun. The whistle is made from river cane, but can be made from pithy wood or bone. The whistles are fairly loud and can be used for rescue or emergencies. Thanks for watching and I hope to see you in the woods!
